- Entries for the bodyshop Awards 2021 and 30 under 30: rising stars 2021 must describe in detail individual / business / work / training methods and successes completed during the period 1 April 2020-6 August 2021.
- Nominations for the bodyshop Awards 2021 can be submitted in multiple relevant categories, including:
- Independent Bodyshop of the Year
- MSO Bodyshop of the Year
- New Bodyshop of the Year
- Bodyshop Manager or the Year
- New Technology Award
- Insurer of the Year
- Work Provider of the Year
- Customer Experience Award
- Educator of the Year
- Vehicle Manufacturer of the Year
- Paint Technician of the Year
- Panel Technician of the Year
- MET Technician of the Year
- Apprentice Paint Technician of the Year
- Apprentice Panel Technician of the Year
- Apprentice MET Technician of the Year
- VDA of the Year
- Nominations must be submitted using the online forms on bodyshopmag.com and completed using the official category nomination forms which are emailed to the nominator and/or nominee after the initial online submission is received.
- Any entries submitted by WeTransfer, Dropbox or any other method not mentioned above are ineligible and will be disqualified without further notice.
- By entering the bodyshop Awards 2021 or 30 under 30: rising stars 2021, you consent to being contacted and your data being held and used for the purposes of awards assessment, communication and promotion.
- Following preliminary assessments, up to five finalists will be selected in the bodyshop Awards categories. These finalists will then be further assessed to determine a winner by an independent judging panel featuring 15 representatives from across the UK collision repair industry, plus three from bodyshop magazine. The bodyshop magazine representatives have no voting rights on the judging panel.
- The judging panel for the bodyshop Awards 2021 will convene on 29 September 2021.
- Decisions by the judging panel are final and no further correspondence will be entered into.
- Entrants into the bodyshop Awards 2021 practical categories – for technicians, apprentices and vehicle damage assessors – are required to complete an online assessment. To advance to the next round of the competition, participants must achieve a minimum score set by the judges and up to four contestants move forward to the next round in the technician and apprentice categories, and up to 12 advance in the VDA competition.
- All bodyshop Awards 2021 finalists and the winners of the 30 under 30: rising stars 2021 will be celebrated during the bodyshop Awards 2021 event at ICC Wales.
- The winner in each bodyshop Awards 2021 category and all 30 under 30: rising stars 2021 awards recipients will receive a unique trophy.
Online Repairer Vote:
- The online vote is the only way to register a vote for the New Technology Award and Insurer of the Year award.
- One vote per email/IP address will be recorded. All votes will be checked and verified.
- bodyshop will announce the winner of the two votes during the bodyshop Awards 2021 on 17 December at the ICC Wales.
- The open and close dates of the vote will be made public online. Any votes registered outside of those dates will not be counted. The vote will open on the 4 November 2021 and close on the 19 November 2021.
- bodyshop (Plenham Ltd) employees are not eligible to vote.
