AW under BBC spotlight
AW Repair Group was under BBC spotlight this week, featuring in a Watchdog episode focusing on safe vehicle repair.
The British Standard Institute recently contacted AW Repair Group to ensure consumers are aware of the automotive industry standards explored in Monday’s broadcast (16 March) of BBC Watchdog test house.
The vehicle repair sector is not regulated by law, only ‘those bodyshops with integrity’ choose to subscribe to the BSI who regularly carry out audits to ensure vehicles are repaired in the way in which the manufacturer and safety methods approve.
Each bodyshop within AW Repair Group is BSI Kitemark approved. Managing director Andrew Walsh said, ‘We were privileged to be asked by BSI to take part in the BBC programme because although this is not mandatory by law we want our customers to feel confident that we are delivering precise and safe repairs every time.’
