Drivalia appoints Motor Assist to provide accident aftercare

Drivalia has appointed Motor Assist to deliver seamless end-to-end accident management and mobility solutions.
It will also provide repair deployment and repair management for Drivalia’s corporate fleet and SME contract hire & leasing customers.
To support further growth in the UK, the pan-European automotive rental, leasing, and mobility provider selected Motor Assist according to key criteria such as service expertise, flexibility, downtime management and cost control.
Another factor was Motor Assist’s EV-for-EV guarantee, which aligns with Drivalia’s wider transition to electric vehicles.

Mark Young, account director at Motor Assist, said: “We are delighted to be working with Drivalia’s team, supporting its plans to grow its presence in the UK and build its electric vehicle offering.
“For both of these aspects of its strategy, Drivalia required a partner that not only had a similar outlook, but also had proven expertise in the sector and a fresh approach that was not restrained by how things were done in the past.”
Duncan Green, commercial operations Director at Drivalia, said: “Our fleet operator and other partners expect a full range of fleet management solutions, and working with Motor Assist enables us to present a complete range of services. This enables us to offer a one-stop solution, while benefiting from the proficiency of Motor Assist in delivering accident aftercare and rapid assessment and repair of vehicles to reduce downtime and costs.”
Motor Assist was launched by AX in 2022 to provide a modular approach to accident management and was named Accident Management Company of the Year at the Modern Claims Awards and also collected the Innovation in Electric Vehicles gong at the Great British Fleet Awards.
