RH Commercial Vehicles bolsters aftersales team

RH Commercial Vehicles has announced two key appointments to its aftersales team.

The appointments follow the acquisition of Renault Truck Commercials, last month, which took RHCV’s sites in the region to eight and continued a long period of investment and expansion.

The Coventry-based business has announced that James Daykin has been named aftersales director while Edward Baxter has been named aftersales general manager.

Daykin joined the company in December 2006 as a parts apprentice in Nottingham and has subsequently been promoted to parts supervisor, dealer point manager and group parts manager, overseeing the four sites under the group at the time. He then became group aftersales manager being appointed as a director, effective from 1 January.

Meanwhile, Baxter joined the business in 2012 in sales and has held roles as service supervisor dealer point manager.

RH Commercial Vehicles managing director Nigel Baxter said: “These appointments are both well-deserved and is also a reflection of the growth we have generated since the reacquisition of the business from Kuehne and Nagel in early 2012.

“As we continue to expand across the Midlands it is important to build a robust management team, able to develop and support both existing and new customers and continue to build our relationship with Renault Trucks and Isuzu Truck.”
