Repairify retains environmental certification

Repairify has announced that its Luton and Peterlee sites have retained their ISO 14001 certifications after recent audits.

Repairify met the required certification by ensuring its UK sites are compliant with specific environmental criteria and demonstrated strict monitoring processes and awareness of environmental policies.

These include effective carbon emission management, waste management, environmental compliance and energy usage, and fire regulations.

The auditors recognised that Repairify’s environmental management systems and implementation provided confidence that the organisation conforms to the applicable requirements of the specific ISO standard.

Phil Peace, managing director, Repairify, said:

“The business’ objective is to be consistent in our environmental practices to reduce our Carbon footprint. By continuing to monitor our waste carefully, handle it correctly and reduce it significantly, we have been able to regain the ISO 14001 accreditation, which we were awarded last year at our first attempt.”
