Solus has opened a new repair centre in the North East, creating about 30 news jobs in the area.
Solus, which is wholly owned by Aviva and manages a third of its claims, already operates a national network of 22 bodyshops.
The new 21,500 sqft site will be developed at Hillthorn Park in Washington, with two further sites due to launched in Sheffield and Exeter as part of its expansion strategy.
Simon Smith, managing director, said: “We are extremely proud to open our new branch here at Hillthorn Park – the first site in the North East of England. By opening this centre, we can continue delivering great outcomes for our customers across the region, helping them to get back behind the wheel as quickly and as safely as possible.”
