Drive Motor Retail celebrates industry recognition

Drive Motor Retail has recently celebrated a series of prestigious awards and recognitions.

The group is one of the UK’s largest privately owned automotive retail groups with a turnover of approximately £400m and over 800 members of staff employed in 25 dealerships across the country.

Its Darlington team has recently won the Stellantis Manufacture ‘Stellar’ Accident Repair Programme Award 2024, and the Drive Bury St Edmunds site secured the Southeast Enterprise ‘Best Customer Repair Partner’ Award 2024.

The company has also recently been highly commended for Bodyshop Group of the Year at the 2024 Bodyshop Awards.

Meanwhile, Drive Motor Retail won five out of 22 Vauxhall Customer Excellence awards in 2023. This marked the eighth consecutive year that Drive has been awarded a Customer Excellence award, while still holding the accolade for European Dealer Group of the Year.

Drive Motor Retail operates eight bodyshops situated at the dealer group’s sites around the UK. The bodyshop arm of the business has expanded significantly in recent years, with some sites achieving approved repairer status from a range of manufacturers, including the Stellantis group.
