ProXL launches ultra-fast drying XPRESS305 clear coat

ProXL has launched XPRESS305 which ProXL claims, “is perhaps, the world’s quickest air-drying clear coat”, making it ideal for busy mobile SMART and bodyshop-based repair professionals. The fast-drying clear coat is ideal for repair professionals who no longer require a heated booth or infrared lighting.

The new clear coat joins ProXL’s  XPRESS clear coat range and sits below its established bigger brothers, XPRESS405 and XPRESS605.  It combines excellent flow out and ease of blending and polishing along with fast air drying, superior weathering, and ProXL’s anti-scratch technology, with a greater than 90 per cent gloss retention.

ProXL XPRESS305

XPRESS305 can be used in various environments, both inside and out, giving excellent results straight from the gun. Maximising productivity, XPRESS305 offers easy application and a water-clear finish when cured. In intense UV resistance tests, XPRESS305 has proven its robust nature, with no cracking or loss of adhesion.

SMART repairers use a simple 2:1 mix, adding a single hardener; there’s no need for thinners or other additives. An open pot working window time of 15-20 minutes allows for conscientious repairs, and a super fast infra-red curing time of under 4 minutes is ideal for those using an infrared lamp for an even swifter turnaround.
