Ben charity announces further details for key events
Automotive industry charity Ben has announced further details about its two biggest events of the year, Ben’s Big Breakfast and Ben Ball, which between them need to raise upwards of £150,000 to fund the support it offers those in the automotive industry.
Taking place during the week of World Mental Health Day on 10 October, Ben’s Big Breakfast will invite companies to host a breakfast event from 7-13 October to help raise valuable funds for the charity.
Matt Wigginton, director of partnerships, engagement and income at Ben, said: “Breakfast is definitely the best meal of the day and our Big Breakfast is an easy way to raise funds, as well as being a great opportunity to get people together. Some people are suffering in silence right now, so get involved, and connect with your colleagues, all while raising vital funds for your charity.”
Ben Ball
Meanwhile, the Ben Ball, taking place on 11 December and Old Billingsgate Market, will be a 1920’s Great Gatsby experience with entertainment by Electro Swing Project, who also delivered a Greatest Showman performance during the 2020 ball.
Wigginton concluded:
“Ben is on a mission to help more people each year; three times as many by 2030. That’s a bold ambition, but one we know we can achieve with the help of our industry. Events like this are crucial – and these are our two biggest events of the year, so we hope you’ll join us and make a real difference to the lives of those in our automotive family.”
