NBRA announces new alliance with Cadence Performance
The National Body Repair Association (NBRA) and the Vehicle Builders and Repairers Association (VBRA) have announced a new alliance with Cadence Performance.
The new partnership represents another stride towards sustainability and will promote more environmentally-friendly commuting among NBRA/VBRA members.
Cadence Performance is renowned for its innovative bike stores and cycling hubs, enabling more people around the UK to cycle to and from work. Its mission – to advocate lower emissions through cycling – chimes with the NBRA’s long-standing commitment to environmental stewardship.
As part of the partnership, Cadence Performance is introducing two new initiatives.
The Cycle to Work Scheme aims to empower employees to get bikes and gear with government support, spreading costs over 12 months via monthly payroll deductions. The scheme offers tax incentives of up to 50%, with 10% discounts on bike purchases.
Meanwhile, Cycle Cadence is a new bicycle subscription that offers colleagues a new bike for six, 12 or 18 months with fixed monthly fees and no upfront costs.
The NBRA said: “There’s no better time to embrace cycling and reduce your carbon footprint, whilst also improving your personal wellbeing. By forging an alliance with Cadence Performance, NBRA and VBRA members gain access to a long list of resources and incentives to jumpstart their journey towards a sustainable commute.”
