Plunky’s All-Stars set for final match
The final Plunky’s All Stars charity football match will take place on 28 June at the Football Development Centre in Norwich.
A decade after the first match, the game will be played to raise awareness around mental health after full-time fireman Carl Mills took his own life in 2022.
The charities supported this year are the East Anglian Air Ambulance, the Fire Fighters Charity, and the Norfolk & Waveney Mind, which supports the people of Norfolk and Waveney with their mental health and wellbeing through our network of wellbeing centres, talking therapies, residential programmes, social groups, specialist programmes and mental health training
Organiser Steve Plunkett is hoping to raise £25,000 from the game, adding to the £93,000 already raised from the charity matches over the last 10 years.
