Solus announces gold partnership with AutoRaise
Solus has underlined its commitment to helping young people thrive within the automotive industry through a gold partnership with AutoRaise.
By working together, the organisations hope to equip more people with the essential skills to repair modern vehicles safely and professionally.
The AutoRaise charity was set up solely to help the UK vehicle repair industry attract young people from all backgrounds into a range of technical apprenticeships.
Solus, Aviva’s own-UK wide vehicle damage centre network, is already leading the way with its award-winning apprenticeship programme. The group is also determined to encourage diversity across the industry and more than 20% of Solus apprentices are now female.
Simon Smith, Solus managing director, and Aviva repair lead, said: “For us to continue to be there for our customers, delivering on our promise of getting them back to normal after a motor incident, we need to attract more talented people into a career in vehicle repairs. It’s vital that we provide them with the highest level of training and skills, to future-proof the vehicle damage industry.
“By bringing together AutoRaise, Solus and Aviva, there are lots of opportunities for change and we are really excited about what this new partnership will achieve.”
Steve Thompson, vice chairman AutoRaise, said: “We would like to thank Aviva and Solus for becoming a Partner of AutoRaise. We are excited about working together and it is evident we share the same ambitions for changes in our industry. We look forward to working closely with Simon and the Solus and Aviva teams.”
