DTC accelerates growth strategy

Southampton-based Direct Tool Company (DTC) has announced significant investment in both personnel and site facilities to support further growth.

The investment is part of an ongoing growth strategy that also includes the recent expansion of its warehouse facility, which will allow the company to dedicate more space to developing its research and development capabilities, as well as holding thousands of extra products.

All these products are available to order either by phone or via the company’s newly updated website, which launched last week.

Additionally, the company is investing in innovation and customer service, with personnel being added to the product development, sales, operations, and customer service teams.

Tim Wakeford, managing director at DTC, said: “Our new warehouse space means we can offer the widest range of products in our 30-year history and our new website means customer can access them faster than ever before. The new roles and departments we are creating are all focused on upholding our core aim, to offer the very best products backed by market leading levels of service and support.”
