SYNETIQ secures silver accreditation
SYNETIQ has become the first in its sector to become a Silver Carbon Literate Organisation.
The accreditation further underlines SYNETIQ’s commitment to embedding sustainability across its operations.
The business has been collaborating closely with the Carbon Literacy Project since November 2020 as part of its Our Road to Tomorrow sustainability roadmap, which it hopes will drive a more sustainable future for motoring.
After receiving a Bronze accreditation in June, SYNETIQ has doubled down its efforts to engage more of its colleagues and the wider automotive industry in sustainability education through Carbon Literacy training, now achieving silver accreditation.
As part of its sustainability mission, 183 colleagues across the business have undergone training, having pledged to reduce their carbon footprints.
Anna Reade, client relationship manager and one of five Carbon Literacy trainers at SYNETIQ said: “We are so proud to achieve silver accreditation. While we help our clients to reduce their emissions through the sale and reuse of green parts, minimising our own internal carbon footprint is crucial to our sustainability goals too.
“The actions of individuals can and do make a difference. A deeper awareness of climate change is a valuable tool to help everybody reduce their carbon footprint.”
