bodyshop Awards now in its 25th year
bodyshop magazine is this year celebrating the 25th edition of its prestigious collision repair industry awards.
Watch out for upcoming issues of bodyshop magazine and keep an eye on our digital channels to find out how we plan to mark this exciting milestone for the industry’s longest-running independent awards.
The 2021 bodyshop Awards – to be held on 17 December at ICC Wales – will also be doing its bit for climate change by becoming certified “Carbon Neutral”.
Working hand-in-hand with Net Zero consultancy Carbon Neutral Repair, we will calculate the physical awards’ total CO2 output and then offset those emissions through an offsetting programme certified to VCS or Gold Standard.
Nominations for the 2021 event are now open, with 18 award categories in total, including the Powered by Vizion bodyshop Remit Technician and Apprentice Awards for experienced and trainee-level MET, panel and paint technicians. These will be scored using online testing and practical hands-on workshop assessments at Remit Training in Derby.
There are also two new award categories for this year – Insurer of the Year and New Technology Award – which will be voted on by repairers.
Nominations are also open for bodyshop magazine’s 30 under 30: rising stars, in partnership with 3M – which now in its 5th year recognises and rewards the brightest young achievers in collision repair.
Nominations can be submitted using the following online forms:
You can nominate yourself or put forward a colleague, peer, or business that you feel deserves recognition in the collision repair industry.
Entrants have until 6 August 2021 to get their nominations in.
