Kick off approaching for charity match
The annual charity football match between Plunky’s All Stars and Mercenaries FLK will take place at Peterborough United’s Weston Homes Stadium on 27 May.
The match is raising funds for Anthony Nolan, which saves the lives of people with a blood cancer or blood disorder by matching them with individuals willing to donate their stem cells for transplant.
So far, the match has raised £5,530 in sponsorship and donations but aims to exceed its target of £8,000.
Alongside the match, there will also be an auction and anyone with anything that could be sold or donated as raffle prizes is invited to get in touch.
