Steve Chittim rejoins BASF sales team
BASF has announced the appointment of Steve Chittim to lead customer acquisitions in the UK and Ireland for its Automotive Refinish Coatings Division. His focus will be on further developing the Glasurit and R-M brands.
Prior to rejoining BASF, Chittim was CEO of NIBS Group Distribution, Vauxhall bodyshop area manager with Carter & Carter, and previously worked for 14 years with Glasurit as new products development manager and regional sales manager.
“It is such a fantastic time to come back to BASF with the new innovative products from Glasurit and R-M being launched,” said Chittim, whose new job title is sales manager – customer acquisition premium brands, UK and Ireland Automotive Refinish.
“I’m really looking forward to working again with the BASF team, building on the great foundation here already and fulfilling the growth potential within the business.”
