| Online vehicle remarketing firm Copart UK has announced expansion plans for its Wisbech Operation Centre.
It is planning for a five-acre expansion to the 16-acre site, increaging overall vehicle storage capacity by around 35%.
Phil Briggs, Copart UK’s director of operation centres, transport and engineering, said:
“Our plans to develop a further five acres at this location will further strengthen our storage capacity for customers operating in the east of England. Annually, this expansion will provide storage for just under 7,000 additional vehicles at our Wisbech Operation Centre and will enable us to continue providing our industry leading services.”
Jane Pocock, managing director of Copart UK & Ireland, said: “Our ambitious growth programme is set to go from strength to strength this year, as we continue our investment into land, technology and unrivalled operational capabilities.”
The expansion is expected to be operational by spring 2021. |
