CAPS reports steady claims growth
The latest collision repair industry report from CAPS shows claims and supply chain transmissions both increased by 2% in the week ending 23 January.
The new figures are 77% for unique claims and 84% for supply chain transmissions, and are measured against exchanges across the CAPS Consortium platform in the first week of November.
Some of the factors influencing the steady rise include bodyshops reopening after the festive break and exchanging data clearing the backlog of newly reported claims.
