Tesla just short of half a million deliveries
Tesla fell just 450 units short of its 2020 delivery target of 500,000 vehicles.
This is despite the pandemic forcing factories to shut temporarily and disruption to distribution.
It delivered 180,570 cars in the final quarter of the year, taking its 2020 total 499,550.
This is up from 367,500 deliveries in 2019, which was a 50% improvement on 2018.
