Long-service awards at Fix
Two employees from within the Fix Auto UK network had their long service recognised this week.
Armando Ferraira, production manager at Fix Auto West Hampstead, and paint technician Sam Andrews from Fix Auto Stevenage each reached their 25th anniversary since joining their respective repair centres.
Fix Auto West Hampstead owner Matthew Wright, said: “Armando is as passionate and keen today as he was when he joined 25 years ago. His role has evolved from painter to production manager as he’s grown with the company. He is as dedicated to the business as ever and this has never been more evident than over the last few months.
“Armando has led the team by example throughout these hard times. When needed and without hesitation he has rolled his sleeves up and tackled any job before him.”
Armando’s dedication was rewarded with a certificate and a gift voucher presented to him in front of his wife.
Meanwhile, Hannah Crick, operations director at Fix Auto Stevenage, said: “Sam has been a mainstay of our workshop for 25 years. He joined shortly after Terry Gilbert started the limited business and has stayed loyal and committed ever since. While we held a token presentation to mark what is an incredible milestone, we really intend to celebrate properly with family and friends when restrictions are lifted and we are allowed to.”
