Free automotive traineeships available
Total People is offering free traineeships to 16-24-year-olds wanting to join the automotive industry.
Fully funded by the government, traineeships are a combination of work experience and study with a guaranteed 70 hours of work experience. Traineeships are available in business admin, customer service, digital marketing, bus and coach, and body and paint.
Melanie Nicholson, managing director of Total People, said: “Traineeships are a fantastic opportunity for both young people and employers alike, and are a pathway which can lead to an apprenticeship, further education or employment. Young people wanting to get work-ready can gain valuable knowledge and skills in a real work environment from qualified and experienced individuals.
“Our established links with a wide range of sector employers mean that we can tailor traineeships to individual business and wider sector requirements, while also preparing learners for the requirements of the local job market.”
