Spencer named new Ring master

Theresa Spencer has been named the new managing director of Ring.

She replaces George Skalski, who is retiring after 35 years with the company as 17 as managing director.

Spencer steps up from her role as financial director, having successfully overseen the transition of the company from private ownership to the acquisition by OSRAM.

She said: “I speak for everyone at the company as we wish George all the best in his retirement. He has been an extremely influential figure over the years and has left behind very big shoes to fill, but I’m delighted to be given this opportunity. In Ring I have a team of people who are passionate and dedicated, and I am looking forward to leading them through the many exciting opportunities that lie ahead.”

Ring has also appointed a new business unit director, Jeremy Rochfort, who will lead the UK Trade team.
