Nissan Sunderland plans for June resumption
A phased resumption of production at Nissan’s Sunderland plant it expected to begin in early June.
Production was suspended on 17 March and the majority of employees have been Furloughed since then.
A statement said: “Our goal is to navigate through this crisis while maintaining activities critical for business continuity and to make sure we are prepared for the time when business resumes in Europe and we can welcome the Nissan team back to work.”
