Copart shows bottle in war on waste
Copart has issued eco-friendly refillable water bottles to more than 1,000 employees at its 17 UK operations centres and head office.
This is part of the company’s environmental policy, which aims to reduce waste and control packaging. Meanwhile, the company also sourced eco-friendly bottles made from biodegradable plastics as opposed to synthetic plastics.
Jo Ferguson, head of UK human resources, said: “We continuously seek to identify ways we can minimise waste, encourage recycling and improve the health and well-being of both our customers and employees. We actively encourage team-mates across our business to put forward innovative ideas, so I am delighted that we have been able to implement this suggestion across all 18 Copart UK locations.”
