Green party for AW Repair Group
The AW Repair Group scooped a Gold Award at the NBRA’s Greener Bodyshop Awards.
AW strives for environmental sustainability across all nine of its sites. Its main aim is to reduce its overall carbon footprint by using eco-friendly products and processes across all aspects of vehicle body repair, both in the bodyshop and offices.
Adopting more than 10 green processes across the group, all sites have energy saving motion sensor LED-lighting, fitted by IDES, compacting cardboard waste, skate and rail vehicle transfer systems, variable speed compressors and fuel saver mode Junair spraybooths.
The NBRA Greener Bodyshop Awards have been introduced to recognised those repairers who are working towards a sustainable future. Gold Award winners were recognised for adopting six or more ‘green’ solutions.
