R-M celebrates its centenary
BASF’s premium refinish paint brand, R-M, is turning 100 this year, and the UK team is planning a number of events and activities to mark the occasion.
Founded in 1919 in Detroit by friends Fred Rinshed and Herbert Mason, R-M quickly became the largest paint supplier to the rapidly growing automotive industry. Acquired by BASF in 1986, R-M has continued to be at the forefront of global refinish technology.
The UK team will begin celebrating the landmark with a number of events starting next week and running through until the end of the year. New and existing R-M customers will have an opportunity to attend or get involved with some of these celebratory activities, more details of which will be announced soon.
