BBC turns up for REAL Rally

Two apprentices from AW Repair Group’s Training & Apprenticeship Academy were on BBC Look North last week on the starting grid of The AutoRaise REAL Rally.

This is the first time AW Repair Group has joined the rally, but it’s a cause close to the company’s ethos. With 20 young people now in AW’s Training & Apprenticeship Academy with 16 following the multi-skilled accident repair technician programme, the 24-month course teaches all disciplines, MET, panel and paint.

The entry criteria for the charity rally stipulates that vehicles must be bought for under £1,000 and each team must raise a minimum of £500 for the charity.

AW entered two teams, AW Nottingham Knights’ and AW 63 Squadron, and has thanks sponsors PPG Refinish UK, Perrys Motors, Car-O-Liner, Upol UK, Junair Spraybooths, AGM Services & JD Garage Equipment, which has so far seen AW raise £2,500.
