Apollo Group takes Ezi option

Apollo Motor Group has moved all its sites to Ezi-Methods as of January 2019.

This continues the rapid adoption of Ezi-Methods, as Apollo Motor Group has grown to the third largest independent repair group in the UK. 

Chris Dore, who oversees the technical operations of the entire group, said, ‘We are incredibly proud of our customer service at Apollo. A big part of that is making sure that we are communicating regularly with our customers, ensuring they know how important their business is to us, and working with them to continually improve.  I recognised the same approach from Ben and the team at Ezi-Methods, and that made my decision much easier.’

He added, ‘I was very impressed with the vehicle coverage, and with how simple it is to find whatever you need.’

Ezi-Methods operates on the ‘three clicks to download’ principle making the system so easy to operate that training isn’t required. An initial user group of 35 vehicle damage assessors at Apollo Group were emailed with their login details and a brief introductory video at the end of last year, since then they’ve been using Ezi-Methods with no issues at all. 

Chris said, ‘What really stood out for me was the complete lack of any negative feedback from anyone. Any time you make a change in people’s established working procedures you expect some grumbling. This time, however, the feedback from the team has been universally positive.’

Andrew Marsh, engineering director at Auto Industry Consulting, which owns and operates Ezi-Methods, said, ‘We’re delighted to welcome Apollo Motor Group to our rapidly expanding user base. 2019 is going to be a big year for us with several extensive upgrades to the system planned so having this vote of confidence from such a highly regarded repair group is a great way to start out.’

After the successful rollout of Ezi-Methods to all 15 sites, Apollo has plans to introduce digital method access to all technicians using their portable tablets in the workshop. 

Chris said, ‘Being able to access the method download history is a huge win for us; we can demonstrate compliance very easily at any external audit or inspection. It also helps me to keep an eye on things internally thanks to our monthly reporting and close relationship with the senior team at Ezi-Methods.’
