JLR to pause production

Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has said it will halt production for a further week at its UK plants to allow for the potential disruption of Brexit.

JLR has said it will pause work at three of its UK plants.

JLR employs just under 39,000 workers at sites including Castle Bromwich, Solihull and Wolverhampton in the West Midlands, and Halewood on Merseyside.

A spokesperson said, ‘There will be an additional week of production stand-down from the 8-12 April due to potential Brexit disruption.’
