Bodyshop Event sponsor interview – NBRA
NBRA (national body repair association) is a proud partner of the bodyshop Event & Awards 2018. Here, we speak to Chris Weeks, NBRA director, about his thoughts of the upcoming event.
What are you most looking forward to about the bodyshoop Event & Awards?
I always look forward the bodyshop Awards as it really is a chance to learn more about and celebrate this amazing industry. Car body repair is about so much more than a car repair. It’s about customers, it’s about training, it’s about innovation, it’s about quality and lots of other things, but essentially behind every award winner there is a team of people who have worked very hard or very smart to be the best. Meeting those people and hearing how they achieved excellence is what makes the awards so interesting.
How has the Event & Awards benefited you in previous years?
There are very few truly bodyshop focussed events each year where much of the industry comes together. In the past this event has helped us get our new brand out there and recognised, it’s important that this carries on and NBRA continue to be out in front supporting and developing increased standards and prosperity within the body repair sector.
What experience does the event provide?
Apart from anything else, the event is a tremendous opportunity to talk to lots of people and share first hand our strategy and learn about what others are doing. It is an award event, so it is fun too and so is a great place to strengthen existing relationships with members and to meet new, interesting people and businesses in the industry.
