Axa adds to fleet offering
Axa Insurance has launched a fleet insurance product offering cover to 15 vehicles under one policy. A further five vehicles can be added at renewal.
Launched on the Open GI and Applied Systems software platforms, the product is part of Axa’s commitment to grow its presence in the SME broking space.
Deepak Soni, director of commercial intermediary e-trading at Axa Insurance said, ‘To help distribute our cover, we’ve launched our minifleet product on Open GI and Applied Systems. This forms part of our wider strategy to provide brokers with the tools to trade in volume on the platform of their choice.’
David Kelly, distribution director at Open GI commented, ‘With minifleet insurance remaining a significant product offering for our brokers, but profitability still a challenge within this market, e-trading is becoming a key focus for our customers.
‘This latest launch on Powerplace SME will support brokers in growing their digital presence, offering competitive and comprehensive cover and meeting demand from their SME clients.’
Meanwhile, Jeff Purdy, senior vice president of international operations at Applied Systems, added, ‘The business of insurance continues to become more connected, with broker demand for increased insurer connectivity on the rise. In partnering with Axa, we are further enabling brokers to recognise the benefits of the connected insurer, delivering expanded product choice to our broker partners and driving greater automation via integrated e-trading.’
