IAEA Conference lands historic venue
The 2016 IAEA Annual Conference and AGM is moving to the Coventry Transport Museum, which houses the largest publicly owned collection of British vehicles in the world and tells the story of Coventry and its people through the rise and fall of its biggest industry.
The museum is now fully reopen after a £9.5m redevelopment programme, and includes collections consisting of motor cars, commercial vehicles, cycles and motorcycles as well as extensive collections of automobilia, books, photographs and a wealth of other archive.
Visitors can also experience the new 4D land speed record simulator to the record-breaking Thrust2 and ThrustSSC.
However, the stars of the 2016 IAEA Annual Conference and AGM will be the world-class speakers that have been lined up, so far including Sir John Egan, Tony Emms, Peter Leake and Andrew Marsh.
