Used car auction to raise funds for Chestnut Tree House Hospice

Shoreham Vehicle Auctions (SVA) will host another charity used car auction for the Chestnut Tree House Children’s Hospice on 31 March.

SVA is now calling on dealers and drivers to donate any unwanted dealer part exchange, family car, or van to be auctioned, with all proceeds going directly to the hospice.

Already franchised car and van dealer Yeomans, who runs multiple dealers on the south coast has donated 10 vehicles, while Tates Group, Birchwood Group, Hendy and Frosts Cars are continuing their long-term support for the charity auction again this year.

SVA’s managing director and Chestnut Tree House patron, Alex Wright said: “For 15 years, automotive suppliers and dealers have generously come together to support our auctions, and we’re determined to raise a six-figure sum again this year.

“Every donated vehicle makes a difference, and we encourage anyone with an unwanted car or van on the south coast to get in touch.”

Becki Jupp, CEO of Chestnut Tree House, which provides care for children and young adults with life-limiting conditions, said: “We are incredibly grateful for SVA and the south coast motor industry’s unwavering support. Their generosity has had a profound impact on the families we care for, and we look forward to another successful year of fundraising together.”
