TyreSafe unveils Love Your Tyres campaign

TyreSafe is raising awareness around safe tyre maintenance with this month’s launch of the Love Your Tyres campaign.
The road safety charity is urging all motorists to regularly check the air pressure and tread of their tyres, after a recent survey carried out with the RAC revealed that less than a third of drivers check their tyres monthly.
Poor tyre maintenance significantly increases the risk of accidents and vehicle breakdowns, and can also lead to heavy fines.
TyreSafe’s latest campaign is encouraging drivers to ‘ACT’ now, by focusing on three areas: Air pressure; Condition; and Tread.
Stuart Lovatt, TyreSafe chair, said: “Tyres are the only contact point between a vehicle and the road, yet they’re often overlooked. Our ‘Love Your Tyres’ campaign is a timely reminder for road users to give their tyres the attention they deserve.
“By performing simple, regular checks, road users can help keep themselves, their passengers, and others safe while avoiding costly fines and breakdowns.”
