
Steer Automotive Group has acquired React Accident Repair Group, which operates two sites under the Paint & Bodyshop Hull and React Accident Repair Scunthorpe names.
Steer said in a statement that the acquisition supports its strategy to enhance its capabilities and strengthen its presence across the East Riding of Yorkshire and north Lincolnshire regions of eastern England.

Both sites offer opportunities for growth, with additional capacity to expand their operational capabilities in the future.
The acquisition includes a leadership transition, with Barry Whittles and Chris Elton exiting the business post-acquisition. John Pattinson, managing director of React, will continue to lead the sites and ensure stability and consistency for customers, while enhancing service access for local communities.
