HEVRA Bodyshop Membership aims to raise EV repair standards

The Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Repair Alliance (HEVRA) – the a network of independent garages specialising in hybrid and electric vehicle SMR – has introduced a new HEVRA Bodyshop Membership designed to support bodyshops in efficiently handling EV repairs while maintaining the highest industry standards.
HEVRA said in a statement: “As the EV market continues to grow, bodyshops need the right knowledge, tools, and support to manage repairs effectively. HEVRA Bodyshop Membership provides exclusive benefits to ensure members stay ahead of the curve, streamline their repair processes, and enhance their reputations within the industry.

The HEVRA statement said the benefits for bodyshops that become a member include:
- Unlimited technical support: Gain access to expert advice and second opinions via telephone, email, and WhatsApp.
- Vehicle-specific repair guides: Stay informed with up-to-date documentation and repair procedures tailored to EVs.
- HEVRA Portal access: A comprehensive resource hub filled with repair insights and best practices.

Craig Scragg, technical services manager at HEVRA, told Bodyshop Magazine:
