Women Automotive Network to host global online event
The Women Automotive Network is marking International Women’s Day by hosting a global, virtual meet-up when an inspirational line-up of industry leaders will share their stories in a bid to encourage greater diversity within the sector.
Themed #InspireInclusion, the event will take place on 8 March, with more than 250 attendees, 100 companies, and 15 speakers.
Among them will be Maria Uvarova, senior vice president, product management, Stellantis, and Paula Zaharia, HR Manager Romania, Stabilus.
Leaders from Volvo, Nissan, and the SMMT will also join in debates around inclusivity and diversity.
Attendees can also take part in speed networking sessions and interactive workshops focused on career development, new business connections and personal improvement.
A spokesperson said: “The Women Automotive Network supports a broad network of women at an international level, which increases our outreach for networking, learning and exchange, as well as offering us an active role in supporting the career development of women at all levels.
“We live in a diverse world. The greater the diversity in organisations brings improved cognitive thinking and decision making which drives better commercial results and a more inclusive culture.”
