Win a classic BMW – Car SOS host gifts his car to charity

DEBRA UK, the national Butterfly Skin Charity which provides care and support for people living with the rare skin disease epidermolysis bullosa (EB), has been gifted a fantastic fundraising opportunity by Car SOS co-host Tim Shaw.

The Channel 4 presenter has donated his own beautifully restored BMW E36 M3 Evolution Convertible for the charity to auction off in a £5-per-ticket raffle, which runs until midnight on 31 August.

That’s right, for just £5 you could get your hands on a piece of automotive history that has a celebrity connection thrown in. All you have to do for a chance to win, while simultaneously supporting the charity that has been embraced by the body repair sector, is to head over to the DEBRA UK raffle page and sign up.

All proceeds from the raffle go towards supporting DEBRA UK, which is a national charity supporting more than 3,800 members, including people living with EB, their relatives, partners, carers, healthcare professionals and researchers who work with EB.

DEBRA UK said in a statement:

“We are committed to making sure that the estimated 5,000-plus people living with EB in the UK and their families and carers get the vital and wide-ranging support they need.

“The income we generate from our fundraising activities and our network of charity shops, enables us to provide care and support to improve the quality of life for people living with EB today, and fund pioneering research to find treatments and cures.”
