TrustFord Carlisle raises £2k for children’s hospice
TrustFord Carlisle is helping a children’s hospice celebrate Christmas after raising more than £2,000.
The dealership has announced it has raised 2,050 for Cumbrian Children’s Hospice Jigsaw, which provides care and support to children and young people with life-limiting illnesses.
The funds were raised partly through TrustFord Carlisle’s commitment to donate £25 for every vehicle sold from 4 November to 15 December.
It also encouraged colleagues and customers to donate children’s gifts.
Mike Bell, general manager of TrustFord Carlisle, said: “At TrustFord we’re always looking for ways to give back to our local communities and we hope the funds raised will make a difference to the children and families supported by Jigsaw, Cumbria’s Children’s Hospice.
“A big thank you to all our colleagues and guests for their generous donations of Christmas gifts, helping us bring extra comfort and joy to these families this holiday season.”
