TPS looks ahead following year of ‘successes’

TPS looks ahead to 2025 - new electric vehicles in fleet

TPS has reported a strong performance through 2024 which saw it extend its customer offers, expand its Quantum Consumables range and supercharge its delivery fleet.

On the back of customer feedback TPS, the supplier of Volkswagen Group Approved Genuine Parts to the independent motor trade, extended its deals on genuine parts and its Quantum Consumables range to include more regular monthly offers. The move to month-long offers and deals has proved popular with customers, particularly in the current economic climate.

The expansion to the Quantum Consumables range included the Quantum Synta RN 5W-30 oil, which was added in May. Further oils are expected to be added to the range in 2025. There are 17 oils currently available, with all those in the range holding approvals and recommendations for a variety of modern vehicles, including hybrids, and a range of manufacturers.

TPS has supercharged its parts deliveries service with the addition of 25 all-electric Cupra Born cars and two ID Buzz vans into its fleet – in doing so enhancing its capability to deliver five times a day across six days a week and to fit with the customers’ workshop needs.

The new fleet of electric vehicles was rolled out across TPS’s network of centres, including its new TPS Ballymena centre in Northern Ireland, TPS Coventry, TPS Gatwick, TPS Portsmouth and TPS Southampton. By adding to its network of centres and relocating and expanding existing centres, TPS service reaches 100% of the UK.

Volkswagen Group Total Loss Avoidance (TLA) celebrated its 10-year anniversary in 2024, with more than 700 UK bodyshops now working with the programme dedicated to preventing vehicles being written-off by offering discounted VWG Genuine Parts to keep them on the road.

What makes TPS tick

As TPS looks ahead it has also released its own brand film this year focusing on what makes TPS tick as a business. The video can be watched on both the TPS.trade website and across TPS social media channels.

In August, TPS welcomed the return of its popular charity drive, the ‘Summer of Love, which saw its network of 83 centres and the wider TPS team host a series of fundraising events.

These included bake sales, fancy dress, walks and cycles, BBQs, raffles and the Three Peaks Challenge – with the collective efforts raising £10,701.56 for national and local charitable organisations.

Catherine Baker, TPS head of group parts operations, said as TPS looks ahead:

“By making our offers and discounts available for longer periods, we have enabled garages and their customers to enjoy significant discounts on genuine parts and the Quantum Consumables range. The electrification of our fleet is something that we are particularly proud of as this is important to our customers and for us at TPS, and forms part of a wider commitment to achieving a more sustainable business operation.”
