LKQ’s Bodyshop Division has appointed Chris O’Rourke as its new managing director.
After serving as director of commercial channels for LKQ Euro Car Parts, he succeeds Andy Southby, who has been appointed chief commercial officer for the LKQ UK and Ireland Group.
Southby said: “Chris brings a wealth of experience from supporting the independent aftermarket to LKQ’s Bodyshop Division. His expertise will be crucial in supporting bodyshops as we continue to see fast paced changed in the industry. I’d like to thank all of our customers and colleagues for my time working together”.
O’Rourke said: “It’s an exciting time for LKQ’s Bodyshop Division. Many things are on the horizon including our current investment well-underway at our T1 centre in Tamworth to help bodyshops meet the challenges of today’s marketplace and to grow both profitably and sustainably.
“We’re looking forward to revealing our new distribution capabilities, sales office, meeting spaces and dedicated LKQ Academy space for bodyshop customers. Like the broader LKQ family, our specialist bodyshop business prides itself on its relationships with customers – and it’s been heartening to receive such a warm welcome from the sector already so far.”
