Leapmotor reveals plans for 50 UK sales sites

Leapmotor International expects to have a network of up to 50 retail sites in the UK by the end of the year.

Leapmotor International is the joint venture between Stellantis and Chinese manufacturer Leapmotor. It is focused on the delivery of affordable electric vehicles to international markets.

The UK sites will be located within existing Stellantis dealerships, with other dealer groups including Vertu Motors and Arnold Clark also expected to join the network.

Damien Dally, Stellantis UK’s current Fiat and Abarth managing director, will head up Leapmotor UK.

The brand will launch in the UK in January with two electric models, the mid-sized SUV C10 which has a range of 261 miles, and the T03 city car, which offers a range of 165 miles.

Meanwhile, by leveraging the Stellantis dealership around Europe, the brand aims to increase its European footprint to more than 500 sites by 2026.
