Kwik Fit introduces motor insurance via website

Kwik Fit has enhanced its presence in the UK motor insurance arena with policies offered via its website.

The servicing and repair company joined the UK motor insurance market last year by offering policies through price comparison websites, but has now introduced the service to its own website as well.

Policies include cover for misfuelling and lost, stolen or accidentally damaged keys. Policyholders will have their no claims discount protected when hit by an uninsured driver, experience deliberate damage or vandalism to their vehicle, or need windscreen repair or replacement when using an approved repairer.

Motor insurance

Short European trips will be covered as standard, with the option to add cover for a further or extended visit, while optional additional features include three levels of breakdown cover, legal expenses and enhanced courtesy car cover.

Andy Lane, marketing director at Kwik Fit, said:

“We have launched Kwik Fit Motor Insurance cover to provide drivers with greater choice and cover with a company they already trust to keep their cars safe on the road. We’ve had a great response from customers obtaining cover through price comparison websites but we know that many car owners like to go direct to their provider.”
