Jaguar halts UK vehicle production until 2026
Jaguar has halted vehicle production at its Castle Bromwich site as it transitions to an all-electric line-up.
The brand will no longer produce F-Pace cars, which was the only model left in production after it ended production of the EX, XF, and F-Type earlier in the summer.
That means it will only sell used and new models already in stock until new generation electric vehicles enter the UK market in 2026.
The company said:
“From November 2024, new Jaguar sales will come to an end ahead of our new brand reveal later this year and product launch in 2026. We have now ceased allocation of our current generation of Jaguar vehicles. We do have a selection of models available to acquire on an Approved Pre-Owned basis through our UK retail network.”
This is part of the company’s commitment in 2023 to transition into an electric-only brand. Its first EV is expected to be an all-electric four-seat performance sedan and will be followed by a luxury electric SUV and a large luxury sedan.
