GWM ORA joins Motor Ombudsman’s New Car Code

The Motor Ombudsman has announced that all-electric Chinese vehicle manufacturer GWM ORA has gained accreditation to its established Motor Industry Code of Practice for New Cars.

This means 98% of all new cars sold in the UK now adhere to the code.

GMW ORA is the fourth vehicle manufacturer to join the Motor Ombudsman’s New Car Code this year, bringing the total number of accredited VMs to 46.

The New Car Code stipulates service standards above those required by law, the availability of replacement parts for service and repairs, and all promotion of products, services and warranties written in clear language. It also ensures that manufacturers have swift and cost-effective customer handling procedures in place to help resolve disputes.
