Fix Auto UK repairer announces relocation
Fix Auto UK franchisee Fix Auto Sittingbourne has relocated to a new site that effectively doubles the size of the operation.
The move to the 10,000sq ft centre also enables the business to diversify into repairing LCVs, campervans, large motorhomes and HGV cabs.
The expansion has also included a significant programme of investment that includes four-wheel alignment and ADAS systems along with the installation of a third spraybooth to accompany the two existing booths, one of which is a 12m long, 6m high unit that accommodates most vehicles on our roads.
Director Chad Bishop said, “We joined Fix Auto UK hoping the move would totally transform our business, where we were once just repairing retail jobs and a small number of fleet vehicles. Today we are fully immersed in the insurance sector too. We have gained the confidence to diversify into other areas such as LCVs and motorhomes which is now a significant part of our business proposition.
“While our old site served us well, in truth we were restricted by its size and layout that hampered our workflow. The new site is just perfect for our needs and certainly future proofs our business as there’s scope and space to develop further should we need to.”
Investment
Fellow director Lee Cooper, added: “The new centre takes our proposition to another level. It really is a centre of excellence and one we’re all extremely proud of. We joined Fix Auto UK with the ambition to grow and develop, it was never our intention to stand still. Being part of the network has given us a position in the industry that we never had before but, more importantly, the confidence we needed to make that investment sooner rather than later.”
Ian Pugh, managing director for Fix Auto UK, said:
“What the team there have achieved in such as relatively short space of time is incredibly impressive and while we have helped their journey, their success is down to their hard work, determination and commitment. The new site and their ongoing investments really have elevated the business to a whole new level.”
