Fix Auto to provide ‘industry leading’ HR service to network

Fix Auto UK has launched a unique partnership that will ensure each franchise partner has “an industry-leading” human resources support service.

The network has bought into the services provided by Connor, a leading provider of HR support. The strategic collaboration ensures every franchisee has access to professional assistance in the field – including assistance with employment law, assistance with employee relations issues, and wider HR/people strategies.

The new service complements the existing support already provided to franchisees through its relationship with In-House HR, which provides a comprehensive system of business support tools encompassing compliance, health and safety and training specifically developed for businesses operating within the automotive sector.

As part of the arrangement, all franchise partners will receive an initial consultation to enable the Connor team to understand their current HR/people footprint, processes and procedures. They will have access to a raft of documents and templates including contracts of employment, disciplinary and grievance policies, and performance management policies and procedures. On-going support includes quarterly HR and employment law updates and newsletters, a six-month review with management teams, access to Connor’s HR advice team and access to its parent company, NFP, which is part of the Aon Insurance group of companies.

Commenting on the “industry leading” Fix Auto HR support, Fix Auto UK managing director Ian Pugh said:
