Brayleys Group enhances MOT standards with MOTsafe

Dealer group Brayleys Cars has enhanced MOT standards and skills by implementing Autotech Training’s web-based platform, MOTsafe.

Brayleys Cars operates 19 sites across the UK and performs 150 MOTs every day. With ambitious plans to open more sites, it recognised the challenge of managing MOT data effectively.

MOTsafe is a highly visual online dashboard that immediately provided the motor retail group with a comprehensive snapshot of vital MOT data across each of its sites. This enhanced oversight enabled the management to increase efficiency and take proactive measures to safeguard compliance.

It has also helped the group analyse critical metrics, including retest speeds and Pass after Rectification at Station (PRS) rates. This also opened up new avenues for identifying training opportunities for their MOT testers with targeted training sessions on-site delivered by Autotech Training.

Liam Perricone, divisional aftersales manager at Brayleys, said: “Working with Autotech Training has significantly improved the efficiency of our MOT business. As a business which is growing, we recognised that our liability grows too. It takes just one person to make a mistake and our business would be at risk. There is no room for error, and safeguarding compliance and the reputation of our business is paramount.”

Rob Walsh, head of MOT for Autotech Training, added:

We understand the critical importance of MOT compliance in ensuring road safety. Through MOTsafe, we have empowered Brayleys by equipping them with a simple-to-use digital tool to ensure they stay ahead of DVSA regulations, identify potential issues, and maintain the highest standards of MOT testing.”
