Brake extends free support to road victims

Road safety charity Brake has announced that road victims in Scotland will continue to receive free legal support.

It has again secured funding from the law firms on its legal panel, which was launched last year to support road crash victims through its National Road Victim Service, which provides emotional and practical support to families that have been bereaved or injured in road crashes.

While available throughout the UK, a dedicated team of Scotland provides support face-to-face, online and over the phone.

Among the personal injury law firms on the panel are Digby Brown, Irwin Mitchell and Morton Fraser MacRoberts.

Marco Fantin, partnerships manager at Brake, said:

“We are delighted that these firms have renewed their support again this year so that we can continue to offer this important service to those who need it in Scotland. The road crashes we see in this region are often complex and as we support people through our National Road Victim Service, it’s great to know we can continue to guide them to specialist legal support too.”
